Category:Ore Supply Equipment
Product Introduction:The electromagnetic vibrating feeder (usually the GZ series) is a high-precision device for quantitative feeding, driven by electromagnetic resonance. It doesn’t have a motor or any rotating parts, making it ideal for accurately feeding dry powder, fine particles, and small pieces. It’s mainly used in concentrator screening, chemical preparation, and powder silo feeding.
1. How It Works
It’s a dual-mass low-critical resonance elastic system. The control box sends half-wave rectified pulsating current to the coil. During the positive half-cycle, the iron core attracts the armature, moving the chute backward and storing energy in the leaf springs. When the negative half-cycle kicks in, the spring drives the chute forward at high speed. The tank tilts slightly, so the material moves forward in a small parabolic hop. You can adjust the thyristor voltage to change the amplitude and adjust the ore feed continuously. It responds almost instantly with almost no inertia, vibrating around 3000 times per minute.
2. Main Parts
Includes the feeding tank (wear-resistant liners can be added), electromagnetic exciters (core, coil, armature), leaf spring assembly, shock absorber/support assembly, and a silicon-controlled control box. Comes in two types: open or sealed dustproof. No bearings or gears and doesn’t need lubrication.
3. What It’s Good For (Gold Mining)
Works well with dried gold-bearing fine ore, granular ore, dry powder, and small ore pieces, with particle sizes generally ≤50mm. Also good for pharmaceutical prep, screening, and concentrate feed. Capacity for regular GZ models is mostly 0–50 tons per hour.
4. Features
High feeding accuracy, easy adjustments, instant start-stop, perfect for automatic batching and central closed-loop control.
No rotating parts, no need for lubricants, low maintenance.
Low power use, small and compact, flexible to lift and arrange; sealed models control dust well.
Feeds materials evenly, so powders don’t segregate.
Not for big blocks or high-capacity coarse crushing upfront; coils can fail in humid environments; low overload capacity.
5. Comparing Plant Facilities
1. GZ Electromagnetic Vibration Feeder: good for fine material, dry powder, precise small flow feeding, quantitative batching (like for sieves, chemical systems, small powder silos). High precision, but not impact-resistant.
6. Model Info
GZ1, GZ2, GZ3, GZ4, GZ5—the bigger the number, the bigger the groove and the higher the capacity. If it has an F at the end, it’s a sealed dustproof type (GZF).
