Product Introduction：The swing-type ore feeder is a back-and-forth feeding device, mainly used to supply ore under powder ore silos in small and medium concentrators, feed belts, or even feed directly into a ball mill. It's a classic, old-school device with a simple design and low cost.
1. How It Works
The motor powers a worm gear reducer, which moves an eccentric wheel and connecting rod that make the bottom swing plate move in an arc. When the plate swings forward, ore falls from the silo and is discharged; when it swings back, feeding stops, giving you a regular, periodic feed. You can adjust feed by changing the eccentric wheel stroke, speed, or gate opening. When the machine stops, the swing plate closes the silo opening, locking in the material and preventing ore from flowing out on its own.
2. Main Parts
These include the casing, swing base plate (with wear-resistant liner), eccentric wheel, connecting rod mechanism, worm gear reducer, motor, and adjustment gate plate. Usually, it’s hung under the bottom of the ore silo.
3. Suitable Materials (Gold Mining)
It works best with dry, non-sticky small gold ore pieces, max size ≤50mm, typically ≤35mm. Typical processing capacity is 0~25t/h, so it’s good for small to medium feed setups.

Models are named by discharge port size, like 400×400 or 600×600. The 400×400 model handles up to 35mm ore and 0~12t/h; the 600×600 model handles up to 50mm ore and 3~25t/h.
