Product Introduction：Belt conveyors can be moved as single units or in multiples as a transport system. Depending on the process, they can be set up horizontally or at an incline. Besides handling horizontal or inclined transport, belt conveyors can also combine convex curves, concave curves, and straight sections. The size of material you can transport mainly depends on the belt width, belt speed, groove angle, incline angle, and how often large chunks of material are present. Right now, the belt conveyor works best in temperatures between -25°C and 40°C.
How it works: A belt conveyor is made up of a conveyor belt, rollers, drums, and components for driving, braking, tensioning, redirecting, loading, unloading, and cleaning. The frame is made from high-quality steel plates, with a height difference between the front and back legs, creating a tilted plane. The frame has belt rollers and idlers to drive and support the belt. The drum that moves the belt is called the drive drum, while the one that just changes the belt's direction is the redirecting drum. The belt moves because of friction between it and the drive drum. Usually, the drive drum is at the discharge end to make pulling easier. Material goes in at the feed end, lands on the moving belt, and is carried to the discharge end.
